"Patterns in Nature"

From rainbows, ice crystal halos and mirages to spider webs, wave patterns, and the markings on butterfly wings, the natural world is replete with patterns that can be described (and often explained) in mathematical terms. Illustrated with many photographs, this non-technical presentation will introduce us, hopefully in an informal and entertaining manner, to aspects of nature's beauty as revealed by mathematics.
