"Binary Galaxies and Dark Matter"
The mysterious "Dark Matter" problem in the Universe is
investigated, and the possible explanations are discussed. Observations
of binary galaxies in neutral hydrogen at 21 cm using Arecibo, VLA, and
other radio telescopes are described, and the results are used to determine
mass to luminosity ratios and to probe the dark matter in the systems of
binary galaxies.
